The work begins way before you start writing on your site, as you need to find the perfect niche – the subject of your website. Niche research is about finding profitable subjects that are broad enough to write enough content about, yet narrow enough for you to become an authority on the topic.

A great way to establish the popularity of a niche market is to use the Google AdWords keyword tool. Simply type in the name of the niche and you will see the number of searches performed each month, along with lots of related keywords.

If you sign in to the tool, you will also see the average price you would expect to pay to advertise on the front page of Google for each term. This should give you a feel for how much money there is to be made in the niche you have chosen to research.

There are a number of ways to find out how much competition you will face if you launch a site in a particular niche market. For a very quick and broad estimation, simply search for the niche name in speech marks in Google.

The higher the number of results returned, the more competition is out there. Of course, this doesn’t give you much insight into the quality of the competition, just the quantity.

To get a more reliable indication of how tough a keyword will be to rank for in search results, there are free tools to download, popular ones include Market Samurai and Traffic Travis. These will analyze things like how many inbound links are pointing to sites already ranking for the niche terms.

This gives a far more accurate picture of competition, but can take a while to fully research.

By doing your niche research properly, you will save time and effort. Focusing on the wrong markets will usually result in poor results, namely profit. When you find a niche market with plenty of search volume, good advertiser spend and relatively low competition, you have truly found your niche.

Being able to guest blog is simply just making a post on someone else’s blog and basically reaching out to his or her readers. This is incredibly helpful because you are able to network to more people and this drives more traffic to your blog.

In order to guest blog, all you really need to do is make connections. Networking is the one thing that will really help you out when it comes to internet marketing. Though you may not be an avid blogger, this is a great way to get to know more people and these are connections that can prove to be valuable in the future.

The truth is that these forums have thousands of people who visit them, and you will definitely find yourself gaining more subscribers almost instantly as long as you can provide a good amount of information in your answer.

Offer something incredibly huge

Tell your current visitors who haven’t signed up yet to finally join because of a big surprise you have for them in your newsletter.  Write a complete article or blog post on the *BIG* thing that you have in store, whether it’d be a brand new ebook or a free product that was being sold before.

This could be implemented so easily, and you can be getting quite a lot of new subscribers within a short amount of time.  Right now I am working on adding a free gift for subscribing.  Keep tune for more developments.

This means that it can be shared with thousands of people and they will pay a fee to read it.  You can distribute it off your website or as the graphic suggests off the Amazon site.  You will be able to make a good amount of money and all you need to do is wait for the money to come in.

People will create an ebook for various reasons and you will need to first determine what your main purpose is and who your target audience is. Whether it is to truly educate or to simply just publicize your brand, you will need to know what your reason is before you start.

The best format to create an ebook in is PDF and this is the best and most common way to do so.  You can send them in an email after having the person pay with Paypal.  The whole process is easy to automate.

Make sure that you know what you are talking about and that you make it interesting to read and to look at.  A majority of people will be skip readers and so you will need to bold the most important things. Have pictures and graphs on certain things and remember that you can read other ebooks for inspiration.

Though your first ebook may not become a best seller, you will simply need to keep going and to realize that you must keep trying.  You can write how to books, romance novels, sci-fi novels, or just information books.  This is a great way to work on your writing talent and make some money in the process.
