Easy Ways To Get More Visitors

So you built this most awesome site and are sitting there just waiting for someone to see it. Most small businesses that have built a website are in the same place. How do you get the traffic you need to promote your business.

The main goal of marketing your website would be to try and get as many visitors as possible that will turn into customers. This can be very easy for some while it can be an impossible task for others.

The problem really lies in your strategy and the things that you post about. Is it worth reading? Is it something that people will click on if they read it on Facebook? Will they get something out of reading the article?

Create Good Content

If you want more visitors, you will need to focus on bringing them back. And by bringing them back you can convert them into customers. Creating good content will make sure that your visitors will come back for more. Get then to sign up for your newsletter so your content goes to them each month.

Network

When you are able to network with other people on the Internet or in your store or office, you will realize it is easy it is to actually get visitors.  Hand out business cards to everyone that comes into the store.  Attend events and pass out cards.  Make sure your cards have your website and contact information on them so people can reach you when they are ready to purchase.

Your friends will often help to promote your posts on the internet.  Invite people to forward their newsletter to friends or share your Facebook status with their followers.  All this creates more traffic towards your site.

Share your website to as many people as possible. Whether it is Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest or any social network out there, you will simply need to have people see your website.

Though not everyone will click on the site, it is a good way to get a few hits. The more you share, the better chance of having someone stumble upon your website.  Be sure to use your website in all your email correspondence along with your email address, so that people will look at your site.

These are several great tips to get more visitors.  I took last week off and worked on things at the house.  I was hoping to get more done with our websites, but I had lots of other tasks on the table.  I have added several new sites and am trying some new things.

I have been working on adding a gift to the newsletter sign up and am still working out the bugs.  I have several ebooks in the works that will soon be up on the DKS Publishing site.  I also have started several other sites and will add them into the links section.
